Costa Palmas – Arches Segment

The project consists of a 4,000 m² linear landscape composed of dunes designed to connect ecosystems and spatial experience through a single, cohesive gesture. The dunes maintain controlled heights (generally under 1.5 m and never exceeding 2 m) and are shaped with 3:1 slopes, ensuring constructive feasibility and a consistent rhythm along the route.

At specific points, the dunes narrow to allow for the planting of trees alongside the path, generating shade, layered vegetation, and a dynamic pattern that evolves with the growth of the canopy.

The strategic arrangement of the dunes protects users from views toward service and construction areas, while simultaneously creating fluidity and continuity for an immersive landscape experience.
