Costa Palmas Public Beach Access la Joyita

The beach access at La Joyita is conceived as far more than a simple pathway: it becomes a key piece of infrastructure for the community of La Colorada. The project is envisioned as a 300-meter linear park equipped with strategically placed spaces that foster public life, recreation, and health.

The design integrates native species from Baja California, promoting ecological resilience and low maintenance, together with high-quality contemporary architecture that reinforces the character of the site. Along the route, educational spaces are embedded within the landscape, transforming the beach access into a network of nature, culture, and community programming, capable of articulating collective and environmental experiences through a single, cohesive gesture.
